Newly remodeled from top to bottom and beautifully furnished, this brand new vacation rental sits in an upscale neighborhood on Law Street just one short block from the ocean with partial ocean views. This roomy duplex has 3 large private balconies with tables and chairs and gas BBQs. There are beach cruiser adult bicycles for riding along Pacific and Mission Beach and Bay boardwalks, sea bird reserves and the neighboring scenic drive through Bird Rock and La Jolla. Private double garage parking with automatic garage door opener and free laundry room (both shared by two units). The light and airy living room is tastefully and comfortably furnished with all new furniture, queen sofa bed and a large screen plasma TV. The kitchen has granite counter tops, all new appliances and beautiful Maple cabinets. Each bedroom had a queen bed, TV, and a large closet with mirrored doors to keep things tidy. Cable/wireless Internet, Cable TV, phone.

This newly remodeled duplex with the 2 bdrm/2ba on the bottom and a 1 bdrm on top in in a very nice, quiet, upscale neighborhood just one block to the ocean with Law Street Park at the end. Several San Diego websites list Law Street Park as the “Best Beach Overlook.” This two-block long patch of lush green grass, with several shaded benches, overlooks the sandy beach from the top of a 25 foot cliff. It is a favorite spot for observing the wide white-sand beach below and the endless numbers of surfers and sail-boarders displaying their skills at wave-ridding, just off-shore. The park is also a favorite for picnickers and sunset watchers and has restrooms and outdoor showers. A wide ramp gives easy access to the beach below. North Pacific Beach around Law Street has a much more mellow, less crowded atmosphere than Pacific Beach and Mission Beach south of Crystal Pier/Garnet Street, yet Pacific Beach's myriad of ethnic and seafood restaurants, shops and clubs are only 6 blocks away.

  • Rates subject to change until confirmed.
  • These rates are for the two bedroom lower unit. One bedroom unit is about 30% less. You must add the cleaning fee and the city tax. (cleaning fee for one bedroom is $100.) I will keep a credit card number on file in lieu of $500 security deposit (like renting a car). I take all major credit cards and personal checks. Keys will be sent by mail and directions by email. No parties!

    Cancellation policy- Reservation deposit minus a $50 handling fee refundable up to 30 days prior to your check-in. Within 30 days we will refund what we can rebook and we are quite good at that.
  • Rent both the upper 1 bdrm and lower 2bdrm/2ba for extended families or friends vacationing together.

    There is a tiled patio in the front for the upper unit with table and chairs and sun umbrella and a new gas BBQ.
    The back patio with a larger table and chairs can be used by either unit
    The upper unit has a balcony with table and chairs, umbrella and new gas BBQ.
    The two car garage and the laundry room are shared by both units.
    Rent both units for extended family or friends traveling together or I have 4 more two bedroom units just 2 houses away and many other larger and smaller units within a 2 mile radius.

Quiet Upscale Residential Neighborhood Unlike Mission Beach and around Garnet and the Crystal Pier area, this is a quiet, upscale residential neighborhood. We do not rent to people who want to party, drink and disturb others. This is a family place. Starting Jan 1, 2008 there is no alcoholic beverages allowed on any San Diego beaches or city parks. Also, starting Jan 1, 2008, tenants and owners can be fined up to $1000 for disturbing the peace.

Going the extra mile for your enjoyment The ocean and bay boardwalks are wonderful for bike riding so we provide new beach cruiser bicycles for you, just like you rode as a kid. No fancy gears, just a plain bike with a big comfortable seat, high handlebars, a kickstand and back-peddle brakes. There is a gas BBQ (with gas provided!), two laundry rooms, a private garage with auto garage door opener. WiFi Cable/wireless Internet and phone line insures that you can keep in touch with work if necessary and there is Cable TV and DVD. There is a communal grassy area with table and chairs. You will find beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach towels, beach toys for the kids, alarm clock, ironing board and iron, hair dryer, shampoo, dishwasher soap, body and hand soap, laundry soap and bounce sheets, coffee filters, saran wrap and aluminum foil, kleenex, paper towels, toilet paper, etc. Comfortable beds with high quality, high thread count sheets.
