Brooklyn Bedding & Spa is charming! it has three furnished bedrooms on two floors: the East Room (sleeps 2) has a generous walnut, queen-size sleigh bed, that overlooks the back garden; The West Room (sleeps 2) has an extraordinary antique-maple, queen-size bed, that overlooks front tree lined block. Both the East and West Rooms are located on the sunny second floor, which boasts 12-foot ceilings holding crystal chandeliers; kitchenettes provided. The Parlor Room, located on the Parlor Floor is spacious (sleeps 4) it has two delightful antique-walnut, double beds, facing the front tree lined block; with the open kitchen/living-room attached, facing the back garden. The bathroom accommodations are on the studio level with garden access. Each Room is provided with cable television and wireless internet. Brooklyn Bedding & Spa is conveniently located in Clinton Hill near downtown Brooklyn. Two blocks from the A/C-local subway line at the Clinton/Washington train station-4 stops from Manhattan. Clinton Hill is a small neighborhood in north-central portion of the borough of Brooklyn in New York City. It is bordered on the east by Bedford-Stuyvesant, on the west by Fort Greene, on the north by Wallabout Bay and on the south by Atlantic Avenue. By the 1840s, Clinton Hill had become a fashionable neighborhood for the wealthy of Brooklyn, who could commute to Manhattan by way of stagecoach to the Fulton Ferry in nearby Brooklyn Heights. By the 1880s and '90s, Clinton Avenue was lined with mansions of millionaires, many of which have survived to the present day. The most prominent of these are linked to Charles Pratt, who built a mansion for himself and one each for three of his four sons (pictured, right). These four mansions can be seen on Clinton Avenue between DeKalb and Willoughby.
