Lee cottage Rental Property Information
This cottage is only minutes from Baxter State Park and it's tremendous scenery, wildlife and hiking trails. Hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, ATV-ing, biking, skiing, swimming are right next door !! How about sailing, boating or even whale watching?? Cottage is only 90 minutes from Maine's beautiful seacoast and it's picturesque fishing/lobstering hamlets. Fall asleep to the sound of Loons and awake to the sound of the many songbirds. Take a nap on the huge deck overlooking the lake or a canoe ride in the evening and see the abundant wildlife. This vacation will be so relaxing and enjoyable that you'll want to come back year after year !!! See ya's soon !!!!!

This area of Maine has many lakes , rolling hills and picturesque villages . Famous for hunting , fishing , hiking , skiing , snowmobiling , Rv-ing and many other outdoor activities . Whatever you do , don't forget your camera as the wildlife is abundant here in the Highlands and especially so in this area .The town of Lee can boast of one of the oldest Academies in the country , Lee Academy .You'll find folks are 'laid back' and very down to earth . Home is nestled amongst sugar maples The foliage in the autumn is spectacular as this cottage is nestled among a large grove of sugar maples , beech and ash trees . Many of the trees are approaching one hundred feet tall and many song birds nest in these trees . New Brunswick , Canada is only 60 miles away . Take a day trip to the provincial capital of Fredericton , a beautiful old city on the St. John river . Bangor , Me .[60 miles] has a new casino and is also the home of Best selling author Stephen King .
Be sure to book early for Hunting season !!!! This area is renowned for hunting as deer, moose and bear abound here . Registered Maine Guides are available with our November hunting package which also includes home cooked meals . Be sure to book early as this package sells out fast . Bookings for this Special will be accepted starting on October 1st on a first come -first served basis .
