Other Ocean City Features Ocean City New Jersey has one of the best boardwalks on the East Coast. My home is located in the Southend and the boardwalk is located in the the Northend of Ocean City...about a 5-10 minute drive away. The Southend of Ocean City is considered the quiet end because it's a short drive away from the boardwalk. One more thing...Ocean City is a 'dry' town...no bars...which keeps Ocean City a great family town. Only drive 10 to15 minutes either direction to another town for nightclubs and bars. 20 Minute drive to Atlantic City NJ.
