This modernly restored farmhouse has thick stone walls that provide pleasant coolness in the summer. We are located in one of the greatest gastronomic centers of the world and the owners enjoy fine food, cooking and entertaining. The state of the arts kitchen allows for superb cooking and the possibility to enjoy cooking lessons in site if previously arranged.

Local gastronomy We are in the middle of one of the most exquisite gastronomic areas of the world, not far from El Bulli, which has been continuously considered the best restaurant in the world, but also near several other starred Michelin restaurants such as El Celler de Can Roca and Can Fabes. With previous arrangements we will be able to organize bookings in the greatest restaurants. The possibility of having cooking lessons while in Can Patller can be privately arranged, as well as private visits to local vineyards.

Golfing and other activities Can Patller is in the midst of several great internationally celebrated golf courses, all of them reachable by car in less than 45 minutes. You can also take pleasure in other activities such as sailing, hot air ballooning, horseback riding or just settle on for the cultural and artistic life of the area, perhaps starting with the Gala-Dali Museum in Pubol which is a few minutes away, and continue with organized visits to internationally renowned artist’s workshops in the area that can be privately arranged.

History and Arts Several international music festivals take place in the area during the summer, amongst them the Perelada and the Festival de Musicas Sacras in Girona, the one of Torroella de Montgri or the Festival at Cap Roig. If you are interested in history, you will be able to visit an old Iberian village in Ullastret, or the Greek and Roman ruins of the old city of Empurias on the coast from where the Romans used to import garum, wine, olive oil, wheat and other products. Can Patller is the perfect place where you will be able to enjoy a peaceful time while being within a short distance of wonderful medieval villages such as Madremanya, Monells, Pubol, La Pera, and others or still be able to visit the nearby Mediterranean and enjoy the beaches of the Costa Brava.
