Ski slopes for all skill levels. Lots of off road bike trails as well as some of the best road riding anywhere. Rafting and kayaking--either solo or as part of a group. An extensive system of interconnecting hiking trails easily accessible from town. The local in-town bus service, the Chile Line, connects in winter to Taos Ski Valley.

Art--A Way of Life Taos is unique in its long history of attracting and supporting the visual arts. Dozens of galleries line the streets of town--most featuring local artists. Friendly and knowledgeable, gallery owners are eager to share their passion for the arts. Courses and workshops continue to lure both the novice and the proficient.
