The second bedroom has two twin beds that can be made-up into a king by request and is a comfortable distance from the master suite to provide privacy. For kids, we’ve stocked this bedroom with additional amenities. Additionally, we have an air mattress for any other last minute guests!

The large, airy living room is newly furnished and includes a flat-screen TV, DVD player and sofa bed. Feel free to use the yoga mat and DVD’s to help you relax. A gourmet kitchen has more accessories than you’ve come to expect in a typical vacation rental, including an espresso maker so you can sip your morning latte while watching the sun rise over the ocean. For the beach, we have provided beach mats, beach chairs, boogie boards, and beach towels. In addition, we have a large cooler and plastic containers to transport your food and beverages to any picnic spot on the island. It’s only a 5-minute walk to the Grand Hyatt in one direction, and Brenneke Beach (great for body-surfing) and Poipu Beach on the other side.

Modern Luxury on the Shores of Poipu Beach We’re located on the shores of Poipu Beach, just a short walk from the 5-star Grand Hyatt Kaua'i Resort and Spa, world famous golf courses, beaches, and some of the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets you’ll ever see! We’ve completely remodeled the inside of the condo to provide you with all the amenities you will need to have a great vacation, all with a private garden terrace for you to relax once your day in the sun is finished. We paid special attention to the master suite and included 600 thread-count sheets, down pillows, and even a rain shower in the bath. If you have any questions about our condominium, please email us and we’ll ensure your questions get answered! We look forward to having you stay with us. We're currently running a Spring and Summer rental special! Our spring rate, usually $179/night, is now $149/night, and our summer rate, usually $219/night, is now $179/night!

About Our Condominium Newly remodeled in April, 2007, the condo has been furnished to provide a calm and tranquil space for you. It’s the perfect place to get away from it all, but with the modern amenities you won’t get at a hotel, including free Internet, a full gourmet kitchen, golf clubs, tennis rackets, and beach gear for the entire family! We've added a few extras too, such as a yoga mat and yoga DVDs, and an espresso machine for your morning latte. For kids, we've stocked a pack-and-play, booster seat, and a TV/VCR/DVD combo in the second bedroom. Our unit is a corner garden unit, very close to the ocean. We have a main lanai which spans the entire front of the condo, including the master bedroom and living room, which has a partial view of the ocean! A 2nd lanai off the other side of the living room gets great sunlight throughout the day. Because it's located on the east side of the complex, we get the benefit of the trade winds, which keeps our unit cool, even during the hot months.

About Makahuena Makahuena is a great condo complex from which to base your vacation. In addition to our unit being renovated from head to toe, each resort building in the complex has also just received a full exterior renovation and looks brand new! The pool and hot tub have gorgeous views of the ocean and are rarely crowded. World class golfing, spa's, beaches, snorkeling and diving, and the amenities of this beautiful island are just minutes away from your condo!

Golf Information: Whether you’re a casual golfer or here primarily to hit the links, you’re in luck, as Kauai boasts some of the best golf courses in Hawaii. If you’re an avid duffer, we trust you’ll bring your own clubs. But for those of you who might want to play just a round or two and don’t feel like lugging your clubs thousands of miles, we have a set of men’s and women’s clubs in the condo for your use. You supply the balls and tees, and clean the clubs for the next guest, and they’re yours to use!
