The Laguna Beach Area There are many recreational and cultural attractions in and around Laguna Beach. Mexico is 1.5 hours South by car. Native American casinos and entertainment venues are within an hour of Laguna Beach as are desert activities ranging from simple camping to off-road motor sports. Snowboarding and skiing are within 2 hours of Laguna Beach.
