    Deposit of $300 due at time of booking. Refundable up to two months in advance of reservation. If you cancel your with 60 days of your scheduled rental, we will do our best to find another group to rent the house and, if we do, we will be pleased to refund your deposit in full.
  • Payment in full and security deposit, due 30 days in advance of the day the rental begins or at time of booking. Again, if something prevents you from using our home, we'll try to find another renter and refund as much of the rent as is covered by this other party. Regardless of whether we find another party, your security deposit will be refunded in full as soon as you notify us that you will not be able to use the house.

1700 square feet of living space… Four bedrooms, one large with double bed, one small with adjoining bathroom and double bed, and two dormers with twin beds, sleep eight very comfortably. Living room, kitchen, dining area, 2 full baths and two enclosed porches… Amenities: Washer/dryer; forced hot air heat, town water service, hot & cold running water, wood stove, barbecue, picnic table, volleyball area, tether ball, 2 window air conditioners, water guns, canoe … The plumbing, hot water, septic and heating systems have all been updated within the last 2 years. The electrical system was updated 8 years ago along with the 3 upstairs bedrooms. The first floor has just been completely renovated -- with new windows, a second bathroom added, one enclosed 3-season porch recently paneled and new large enclosed side porch, floors brought to natural wood, updated kitchen, outside of house recently painted. Pots and pans, dishes, plates, glasses,, etc. provided.

About the owner Eric Kingson has owned this home for the past 20 years. A professor of social work at Syracuse University, his family and friends continue to vacation and spend weekends there. The house carries memories of many good times. It's a place to relax, to have long talks, to take hikes, to read, to play games, to watch children grow, to make campfires, to strengthen friendships, to look at the stars, to camp in the yard/woods, to wake up early to 'catch' the salmon five minutes away near the damn on the Boquet River. (Of course, if you are like me, you might hook one only once every ten years... But those with more skill, and who come up in the fall and spring, will probably have more luck. As for trout, since I and lots of the kids who spent time at our home have caught them on a regular basis, I suspect you can as well.)

The property is located on the edge of the town of Willsboro. To us, it's amazingly relaxing, without being isolated from a small town and a few neighbors. A major renovation was completed in 2007.
