Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

  • a $500.00 nonrefundable deposit is required for each week reserved
  • the cleaning fee is $150.00 if the cottage is not left as clean as when you arrive. a $500.00 security deposit will be required at the time of arrival. if you don't wish to clean the cottage please let me know in the beginning of the week so i can have my cleaning lady come on the Saturday you leave. your deposit will be returned after the cottage has been checked for any damage etc... the $150 cleaning fee will be deducted from your security deposit if you choose not to clean.
  • When you book your reservation please send the $500 non refundable security deposit and as soon as i receive the check that week will be reserved for you. The balance will be due two weeks prior to your vacation date and it should be in the form of a bank check or cash. We have had problems with people canceling last minute and also had some bounced checks. Included in the check should be the 9% vt. state room and board tax.

I leave all my herbs and spices, ketchup, mustard , different cooking sauces, etc... we have an ice maker, everything is there to cook any type of meal, frying pans, pots, dishes, utensils, spatulas, plastic glassware to take down by the water. I make sure there is paper towels, toilet paper, soap, dish detergent, laundry detergent and other basic items. This can be quite an expense if you needed to buy everything for a week.

Burlington and surrounding areas Church street in Burlington is an experience in itself, church street is closed off to traffic. You will find many unique stores some very fine restaurants and cafes. While you sit at a cafe you'll be entertained by street musicians, jugglers, mimes etc....It's a really fun experience. if golfing is your sport there are many fine public and semi private courses in Burlington and surrounding areas. in the town of Essex we have an outlet mall with many designer stores.

Montreal Being so close to Montreal, only 90 miles you can experience the many museums, great shopping, fabulous restaurants, a beautiful casino, horse racing and white water rafting. There are many tours available for old Montreal, Botanical gardens, boat rides down the St. Laurence. Montreal is a great city with so much to see and do.

We have been renting our summer cottage now going on our third year, we have had some really wonderful people and have enjoyed sharing our home with them.
