Watching John Travolta fly his helicopter across the ocean in front of our oceanfront Carolina vacation home is only one of the many pleasures my wife & I have experienced at our beach front vacation rental in beautiful Carolina Beach. I have produced & directed a number of motion pictures and have had access to many celebrity digs – so I’m a bit spoiled. We recently found this treasured Carolina vacation home, so Gloria and I immediately have gone to work upgrading the 2 bedroom condominium with new hardwood floors, sporty carpets, art décor paint, new fixtures in both bathrooms and a 42 inch plasma TV, just to name a few nice amenities. The unit is ideally decorated - perfect for the NC coastal beach life and total enjoyment. Here you can definitely “wish upon a star” as you watch the waves lap the beach making soft music to your ears. Plus FREE local and long distance calls, anytime day or night! These simple pleasures & unexpected treasures of Carolina Beach will bring joy !

Comments from last years visitors Our family totally enjoyed a host of local activities including many historical attractions. It was a short distance from Wilmington, and did some outstanding shopping & fun adventures. Carolina Beach has a lot to offer to make this oceanfront family vacation one to remember. The NC aquariums are a popular destination and Carolina Beach is just minutes away from the NC Aquarium at Fort Fisher. The aquarium is located adjacent to one of the premier NC historic sites, Civil War era Fort Fisher. For the history buff – there are plenty of historic sites and attractions near Carolina Beach to keep you busy for days! Family fun is also plentiful in Carolina Beach. To be such a comfortably small island, Carolina Beach is bursting with things to see and do. Water and outdoor activities are big here, of course, but that’s just the start. Carolina Beach’s shopping is an eclectic mix of specialty stores & familiar names. You’ll find treasures of every shape & size. The attractions are equally diverse, with family-oriented amusements & activities day & night. No reservation required when you enjoy diiner from the lani of the condo, watching the waves rush on shore. However if your not up to cooking at the condo: Carolina Beach has plenty of ways to tempt your taste buds. From the freshest seafood to choices in American and ethnic cuisine, from gourmet to home-style cooking and full service restaurants to fast food. The atmospheres range almost as much as the meals, with everything from fine dining establishments to beach casual. And options within every budget level. Locating a great restaurant in Carolina Beach is easy; deciding where to go first, well, that's a little tricky. We love the Tuscan Grille it's one of our favorite places to go when we want a great night out. It seems it's the place to go for comfort food & a warm atmosphere making a romantic night out & gourmet meal. It's always fun to take one night out!

Golf Information: Are you looking for a relaxing place to enjoy time with your family? Having fun is easy at Carolina Beach. It's long, sandy white beaches & soul-restoring waters are timeless. Visitors love it & apparently, so do the fish. Toss a line from the pier, the shore or from one of several chartered and group excursions. Of course, there are other ways to enjoy the water, like boating, kayaking and surfing to mention a few. You can enjoy a day of painting on the deck, capturing the blue green waters of the Atlantic , sip a glass of wine or mint tea & watch your talents come to life. This area will strengthen visual perception & divergent thinking through visual & conceptual stimuli with primary emphasis on sun, surf and sand. Connect with the outdoors in Carolina Beach. Established in 1901, Airlie Gardens is a valuable cultural & ecological component of New Hanover County & NC history. You'll love walking the gardens for a first hand experience in the garden with all it's glory & gather some helpful tips to establish your garden!

Guest Book Raising a child is probably the most gratifying job any of us will ever have -- and one of the toughest. We live in an increasingly complex world that challenges us every day with a wide range of disturbing issues that are difficult for children to understand and for adults to explain. When I need to take time to share special moments with my children, I head down to your condo in Carolina Beach, just about every 3 months. We all love it! My children and I really get to talk about our lives and explore nature right from the condo deck. Being a busy single parent, we don't get real time at home to just enjoy each other and talk. The condo gives us freedom to deepen our relationship and talk about important matters. We all fill free to talk about problems at school or even at home.
