This is an exclusive and quiet apartment in an area where everything you might need is a walk away - supermarkets, international banks, boutiques, restaurants, bakeries, hairdressers. Chinatown is a couple of blocks away. There are two bedrooms with a/c or heating and each bedroom has its own balcony, one with en- suite bathroom. Each bedroom has single beds that can be made into doubles, there is also a comfortable mattress to accommodate a fifth person. The apartment is decorated with gorgeous period furniture as well as equipped with all modern conveniences including high speed internet, cable television, stereo system, washer, dryer and dishwasher. Arrangements can also be made to have someone come in to clean, cook and babysit. Although a car would be helpful, taxis are very cheap and easier, and public transport is available 24 hours. The apartment is within the very desirable residential area of Belgrano. The building itself is a 1930s art-deco jewel and has been maintained true to its original detailing. There is a marble lobby, wrought iron gates, cage-type elevator with wrap around marble staircase. The neighborhood is very safe as is the apartment with a portera (concierge) on the first floor.

The apartment is conveniently located, everything within walking distance including a cinema, a large supermarket, cafes, restaurants, hair salons, gym, library, churches and synagogues, ATMs. Within a short drive you can easily visit Palermo, Ricoleta (home to the world famous cemetery and resting place of Eva Peron), historic San Telmo district, La Bocaknown for its colorful buildings and Florida St shopping. Interesting day tours include visits to cattle ranches, the islands of El Tigre, the city of Colonia del Sacramento in Uraguay (Unesco landmark for Humanity).
