Galveston condo Rental Property Information
This luxury condo villa is the perfect place for that family vacation. It is located in the 1000 acre Pointe West Resort on the western tip of Galveston Island. Pointe West features the Beach Club which includes an infinity edge pool, hot tub, kiddie pool, cafe, open air bar, fitness facility and teen center. Just over the dune from the Beach Club is the powdery golden sand of Pointe West's 3 miles of beach on the Gulf of Mexico. This is real beach not like the tiny man-made beaches down on the Seawall. There is no four lane highway to cross to get to our beach. You're right there. No traffic. No constant auto noise and fumes. Just miles of clean and uncrowded beach. Seaside Retreat is brand new and just placed into rental service in 2007. Everything is new and of exceptional quality. We have all new stainless steel appliances, granite counters, two master suites (perfect for two families wanting to share) a washer and dryer, dishwasher, 3 Sharp LCD TVs and 2 decks.

Seaside Retreat is in the Pointe West Resort on the western tip of Galveston Island. Galveston is a 30 mile long barrier island just south of Houston. It is accessible by causeway and Hobby Airport is just 50 miles away. The beaches and water activities are the main attraction but there are many museums, fine dining, shopping and other leisure activities to be found in Galveston. The West Beach area of Galveston Island is largely undeveloped with only beach homes along the shore. You can get away from it all here but still be only an hour from Houston. Pointe West is developing into the jewel of the Texas coast. There just isn't anything else like it. Remote yet convenient. Luxurious but relaxed. This is the perfect place for families to gather for that memorable beach vacation. There are less expensive places to vacation in Galveston but none of them can compare to Pointe West. You work hard. Don't you and your family deserve some quality time together at the beach?

| Notes: | Seaside Retreat is served by an elevator and so is the Beach Club next door. There are no steps to climb so it is suitable for disabled guests. There is a huge deck with a patio table and chairs where you can enjoy the beach view. On the other end of the unit is a small deck with a table and chairs that overlooks the entrance to the Beach Club. This is the perfect spot to have some wine and watch the sunset over West Galveston Bay. Seaside is fully sprinklered and has smoke alarms as well as a building fire alarm. The Pointe West grounds are patrolled by security guards for your added safety. The Beach Club has many planned activities for the children such as nature walks, kite flying, bike riding, beach games, etc. Adults can work out at the fitness facility and then grab a cold one at the open air bar or a meal at the cafe. It's all here waiting for you. |
Further Details for the condo in Texas, USA
Attractions Galveston is a very historic city that is currently undergoing a development boom. Many of the downtown buildings are being redeveloped and there is also a wave of new hotels and resorts being planned and built for the beach areas. If you haven't been to Galveston for a while, you need to to see what's been happening. The latest attraction to open is the Schlitterbahn Water Park. It is unique because it is partially enclosed so it operates year round. Not far from the Schlitterbahn is the Lone Star Flight Museum with many vintage aircraft that are still flyable. Downtown there are shops and restaurants on the Strand, Galveston's historic main street. Close by you will find the Texas Seaport Museum and the Galveston Railroad Museum. One of Galveston's main attractions is Moody Gardens. Then children will love it. Nearby is the Colonel Sternwheeler paddle boat which offers short cruises and dining. Another favorite is the Galveston Island Ferry to the Bolivar Peninsula
