Soothe your spirit and soul in this quiet, elegant log cabin on Lake Champlain. Romantic getaway or special family retreat. Recently renovated and includes DSL. Nestled in mature pines on one of the few sandy beaches on Lake Champlain. All appliances, furniture and fixtures are new. Cathedral ceiling in living room with a massive stone fireplace. Large screened three-season porch gives fantastic view of the lake and Adirondack Mountains. This is a truly unique getaway. Fully equipped kitchen with microwave and dishwasher, granite counter tops and cherry cabinets. Linens, washer/dryer, satellite TV, and central air included. Canoe and row boat available for your use. Weekly rentals only in summer. Absolutely no smoking or pets and a maximum of 6 people. Cabin is located midway between Middlebury and Burlington with easy access to many outdoor and cultural activities, including the world class Basin Harbor. Cabin is located in a wooded area on Lake Champlain just south of Basin Harbor Resort. Easy access to fine dining, casual dining, outdoor activities and culture from Middlebury to Burlington. Within driving distance of five ski areas. Two hours from Lake Placid or Montreal. Plenty of indoor and outdoor activities or just relax on the porch and listen to the sounds of nature.

We found the trees surrounding the cabin and beautiful lake Champlain have nourishing, almost therapeutic quality and the closeness to the private beach and shore of the lake makes it a perfect holiday place.

I'm here on an unplanned business trip - had to leave only two days after we got back from Vermont. The cabin is very nice, everything we could have needed was there. We did enjoy our evenings together there where we could all cook and eat together which we don't do so much anymore.
