Golfing and Gambling This area abounds with public golf courses that are nationally known and respected. Coupled with the number of sunshine days throughout the year in Las Vegas, they are very available for play nearly always. A major number of courses (about 19) are easily accessible within 10-15 minutes from this Summerlin home. And then there's the gambling....the new Red Rock Casino/Resort is nearly next door. Access to The Strip, Downtown, or Green Valley/Henderson areas is amazingly fast via the 215 Beltway or the Summerlin Parkway to I-15. The only hard part is choosing which Casino to visit....or how many.
