Just as a picture says a thousand words.... This Bungalow style house is located in town on a private drive abutting woods where you'd never guess? Everyone Loves This House. A trail through the woods to upper Main street (w business district) or 7 blocks and 12 short minutes walk to the Harbor and Yacht Club. As close to being on the bus route as you can get without it passing by! Relax on the covered porch with antique wicker furniture rain or shine. Adjacent rental for larger Parties. Inside French doors you'll delight just hanging out on the window seat with pillows, the best place to catch a cat nap. Sit and catch a Sox game w/ Direct TV, turn on the surround sound- test your skill on the 'Dancing pole'. That's right, in the archway of the kitchen to the open floor plan with a galley kitchen. A full bath and bedroom (twins) are what complete this 1st floor. An open staircase to the loft, 1/2 the size of the house is open, with queen, cathedral ceiling, and fan.

Abutting the Woods to the IN Town Private Edgartown Golf Club, at the closest intersection being # 66 Curtis Lane and Clark Drive, Check it out on Satellite Map you can hop on the bike path and be at a beach by bike in less than 10 minutes or take the Vineyard Transit Authority and investigate the whole Island. You can stroll just through the wood and in 3 minutes hit the Dairy Queen, or catch a coffee to go, and a paper and take a Sunday Brunch at the Harbor view, with it's phenomenal views of Chappy, the harbor opening with all the comings and goings of the boats, and the historic Edgartown Lighthouse, but wear your suit and bring a towel, the in town beach is right across the street and around the corner on the way home!

Location Can't BE BEAT! Located right in the heart of Edgartown, its just a 3 minute walk to the Stop N Shop, Package, Diner, and Dairy Queen. Curtis Lane is located at the tip of Cannonball Park, a quiet neighborhood just off the beaten path, yet right in town, and is 6 blocks to the Edgartown Harbor and Yacht Club. Less than 3/4 of a mile from the house it is less than a 15 minute stroll. The closest Beach is Fuller Street Beach of less than a mile and is the opening of the Edgartown Harbor with the Lighthouse . State Beach,'Bend in the road' is just over 1 1/2 miles,and South Beach is just over 3 miles, both have good bike paths and are on the bus routes.

'Caretaker' on premesis PRO'S*** The owner lives in the caretakers cottage at the back of the property. EVERY EFFORT is made to respect YOUR PRIVACY! Seperate yards and extensive Landscaping give plenty of Privacy. The Layout to this compound, against the In-Town Private 'Edgartown Golf Club' Woods as a back drop, is just spectaculiar! I wrote this, and I believe it! I recently had an Electrical Transformer, in the neighborhood, Blow in the middle of hte night. I was out there on my cell phone and within 1 hour NSTAR, elc. co., had fixed it. That saved both rental houses refridgerator contents for sure.The Vacationing Clientele didn't even know it! That was the best part. They spent their time on their Vacation, not calling agencies, Rental Agents, or the Owner (ME), I knew it first. So I'll have to toot my own horn here. The occasional Flashlight, Dining Recommendation, or Babysitting Reference, letting Pets in/out need be, Thats a given, I really do have expectations for you to have a GREAT VACATION
