Enjoy magnificent sunsets over Lake Palestine from the back deck of this 1900 sq. foot home nestled on a hillside among oak and pines. Vaulted ceilings and soaring windows show off the view of the lake. Stroll down to the 30 by 30 deck at the water's edge for entertaining, fishing or a day of boating. We have a paddle boat and kayaks available for rental with the home if you choose, or rent pontoon and fishing boats by the hr/day from nearby marina. A fully equipped kitchen (remodeled 01/07) with granite countertops, formal dining, and great room with fireplace make your stay cozy and comfortable... but the master bath with large jacuzzi tub overlooking the water... makes it perfect! The master and two other bedrooms have queen beds. Our office becomes a fourth bedroom when needed..... a full size panel bed drops down from the wall with closet and drawer space attached. All mattresses and bedding are very comfortable.

Launch your boat at the marina only a mile down the road or access our private community facilities which include boat rentals, swimming pools, hot tub, tennis, gym, sauna, pool tables, ping-pong, air hockey, foosball, and more... Lake Palestine is one of the top bass fishing lakes in Texas and our cove is the best place on the lake to water ski. Fishing off our dock is great. The city of Tyler is under 20 minutes away with many dining and shopping options. The beautiful Caldwell Zoo is a must see. Our Civic Theater and University offer live theater. In spring east Texas is blooming with dogwoods and azaleas, while fall finds us enjoying our Rose Festival since Tyler is known as 'the rose capital of the world.' Come enjoy the woods, quiet, and charm of East Texas! No smoking please. Please be aware that the garage of this home is not open for use by renters. It is locked and can be accessed by owners only.
