Fishing is abundant with fresh mountain trout at every turn in the streams, Cherokee reservation and nearby lakes and rivers.

ELK Visit Cataloochee at dusk for a fantastic treat of wildlife and see the elk grazing alongside your car. You may glimpse a red fox or a multitude of birds. Bring your camera for an experience you won't soon forget.
