Wolfeboro - an all year round resort.... Come enjoy everything Wolfeboro, America's Oldest Summer resort has to offer. Spend the day on Lake Winnipesaukee boating, skiing, fishing, kayaking, swimming and take in all the natural beauty surrounding this spectacular vacation destination. Summer months are packed with all the outdoor water activities you desire including beaches just to sit and relax. The area provides a multitude of options for golf, biking, birding, hiking sightseeing, dining, shopping, art and music festivals. As the days turn cooler, the fall colors shine. When snow hits the ground the fun gets going on the slopes, cross country trails, snowmobiles and fishing takes a new meaning. Within a short distance of Wolfeboro, you can access the ocean coast or to the mountains and reach new heights at Mount Washington. Tax free shopping, lots of outlet stores and unique shops provide a shoppers delight. This is truly a playground for all in any season.
Past renters John & Sue Joyce wrote : 7/4/08 The weather was perfect! Cool nights & warm days! Our favorite adventures during our stay were seeing the beaver in the early morning by the lakeside; catching lots of fish; kayaking; roasting marshmallows on the camp fire at night; swimming and of course just relaxing in the swing on the porch! The location is great; walking distance to town. With all the fun things to do right here at the cottage and the bay, we didn't have to leave! We'd love to return again!
Past renters The Beaudoins, Raus and Kellys wrote: 7/27/08 The weather was fantastic! Sunny and warm for all but two of our days. Our favorite adventures during our stay were our daily walks into town and the walking trail around the bay. The outdoor shower - absolutely wonderful!! We even checked out the Hospital Aid Fair on Saturday. Several of us also drove to Lincoln NH for the Alpine Sip Line adventure - great fun! Oh, and not to forget the round of golf at Kingswood golf course down the street. We enjoyed eating at the Wolfetrap after reading all the positive reviews from other guests in the cottage guest book. We really had a great week - and particularly enjoyed the KUBB game we found on the porch. Great for fun in the afternoon after a swim. Albee Beach on Lake Wentworth was another great excursion - especially for the children!
