Coral Bay house Rental Property Information

Waterlemon Villa is a private home located on the hillside overlooking Coral Bay, high enough to capture the breezes of the trade winds, and close enough to the harbor to watch the sailboats come and go. You can see all the way up the Sir Francis Drake channel to Spanishtown Harbor, which is fifty miles away on the southwestern tip of Virgin Gorda. Two queen bedrooms and one twin bedroom accommodate up to six people, so it is ideal for three couples or a family, but the privacy of the location and pool make it just as enticing for a honeymoon couple or an anniversary trip!

Coral Bay is a quaint, low-key area on the eastern end of St. John with easy access to the beautiful beaches of the North Shore as well as the more remote area on the East End as well as Kiddle Bay & perfect Salt Pond Bay. You can hike various trails from Coral Bay or ride horses around the area. There are six delicious & varied restaurants, two small grocery stores, and several clothing and gift shops. Cruz Bay & the ferry dock are 20 min to the west where you will find lots of different restaurants & shopping. You can rent or charter boats or book excursions from either locale. People are welcoming & friendly everywhere on St. John so come & explore!

Children 8 years of age and older are welcome. The villa is unsuitable for younger children due to the elevation of the porches and pool deck. A steep staircase between the first and second floors may make the house unsuitable for people with difficulty navigating stairs. Waterlemon Villa is a no-smoking, no pets property.

Upper Level of the Villa The house is equipped for gourmet cooking, with good pots and pans, knives, utensils, a microwave, and, of course, a blender and a margarita set! (This is a vacation home, after all). There is a Weber grill on the pool deck, and plenty of non-breakable dishes and glasses if you wish to eat poolside under the sun umbrella. The wrought iron table on the upper screened-in porch is also a great place to eat and enjoy the view. There are multiple options for relaxing at Waterlemon, from the chaise lounges at the pool, to the rockers on the lower level porch, to the wicker sofa and love seat on the upper porch. If you get the urge to go indoors, there is a rattan living room set in front of the entertainment center that houses the TV and stereo system.

Lower Level of the Villa A mahogany staircase leads to the lower level where two bedrooms are furnished with queen-sized mahogany four-poster beds. Each bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom with a shower open to the sky and a window overlooking Coral Bay. Sliding glass doors provide views of charming Coral Bay and open onto a tiled 10x30 covered porch that leads to the pool deck.

Outdoors The 8x16 ft. pool is six feet deep, and is surrounded by a tiled deck with three chaise lounge chairs, a table with six chairs and an umbrella for alfresco dining, and the grill. Coral Bay restaurants are five minutes from the house, and the spectacular snorkeling beaches of Salt Pond Bay and Leinster Bay are a scenic 10-15 minute drive. Put the beach chairs and the cooler in the car, grab the towels and spend the day exploring. The natural beauty of St. John awaits you!

Golf Information: Although there are no golf courses on St. John, there are several on St. Thomas. Mahogany Run golf course is 15 minutes from the ferry dock in Red Hook, St. Thomas, which is a 15 minute boat ride from Cruz Bay.
