Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

  • $175 a night/$1225 weekly
  • 50% deposit due within 7 days of reservation. Remainder due 30 days prior to arrival.
    MasterCard and VISA accepted, as well as PayPal payments.
  • Full refund with 60 days' notice.
    50% refund with 30-59 days' notice; full refund if we are able to rent the cottage for the dates you requested.
    Less than 30 days' notice, 50% refund only if we are able to rent the cottage for the dates you requested.

We will happily arrange for you to rent a car from one of the local Bahamian businessmen. He will have your car ready for you at the Governor's Harbor airport when you arrive. A car is almost a necessity to fully enjoy the island.

Ideal getaway spot If you want to spend your vacation gambling in casinos, shopping at outlet malls or jet-skiing, Eleuthera is not the island for you. But if you enjoy reading, napping on a beachside lounge underneath a whispering Casuarina tree, walking miles on a pink-sand beach (often without seeing another soul), this is paradise. The island is safe, the Bahamian people are friendly and the island's beaches are unsurpassed. Poponi's beach was only one of two in the Bahamas -- and one of only 20 in the Caribbean -- picked as an 'ultimate' beach in the February 2008 cover story of Caribbean Travel & Life magazine. It was one of five in the Caribbean named as an 'ultimate walk-forever beach.' Come see for yourself! The grounds and water views are so lovely that Poponi is often used as the site for wedding photos.
