Nestled in the woods of the historic Emory District of Salisbury Cove in Bar Harbor. We are about 5 miles from the head of the island as well as downtown Bar Harbor. A short distance to the main entrance of Acadia National Park. Right down the street is Hamiltion's Pond, a perfect spot for fishing and canoeing and home to abundant wildlife. Enjoy all the island has to offer, we are just short ride away; hiking, biking, golf, shopping. Bar Harbor events this season include Music Festivals, weekly band concerts, July 4th events, live theatre, whale watching. Travel the island on the free Island Explorer bus system or explore the park yourself with our complimentary Acadia Pass

Golf Information: 3 golf courses on the island. Bar Harbor has the Kebo Valley Golf Club, an 18 hole course with cart rentals available. A nationally ranked course that is approx. 5 miles away from rental.. In Northeast there is the Northeast Harbor Golf Club, also an 18 hole course with cart rentals and approx. 12 miles from the rental. In Southwest there is Causeway Club, a 9 hole course with tennis courts on-site. It is approx. 15 miles from the rental. A short drive off island there is Vokes Driving range, as well as the Bar Harbor Golf course. A number of other courses are a short drive away.
