Liverpool house Rental Property Information

Willow Cove Cottage is a charming and bright two-story traditional Nova Scotia home. The house was built around 1910 and has recently been carefully renovated to function as year-round vacation rental. The interior combines clean lines, traditional atmosphere with a tasteful modern décor. The main floor features a well-appointed living room, dining room, reading corner, kitchen and 3-piece bath. The kitchen is fully equipped with new fixtures and appliances, cooking utensils and includes a small eat-in area. Upstairs are 3 bedrooms and a second 3-piece bath. A VCR, TV and CD player are there for your entertainment. Outside, a large private garden and deck allow space for reflecting, watching the world go by, reading and cooking on the charcoal barbecue. Up to 5 adults. Walking distance to Carter’s beach, local convenience shops and restaurants. Willow Cove Cottage is located in the quiet and quaint fishing village of Port Mouton, approximately 10 km south of the historic town of Liverpool. The cottage is situated on a 2 acre oceanfront property with views of and direct access to marvelous Port Mouton Bay. Carter's Beach - probably the most beautiful white sandy beach along the South Shore- is only a 10-minute walk away. Liverpool is the closest town - it is an interesting town with a lot to see - the lighthouse park, interesting museums and a great bars/restaurants. The Rossignol Cultural Centre would appeal to kids of all ages. It has a lot of interesting displays. Lunenburg is about a 45-minute drive and Halifax is about an hour and a half. The Fisheries Museum in Lunenburg is worth a visit. There are some great day trip activities in Halifax - the Discovery Centre and the Citadel. The historic town of Shelburne, with its stunning harbor is only 35 minutes away.

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

  • The rental period is Saturday to Saturday. Check in is after 4 p.m. Check out is no later than 10 a.
  • Payment Schedule:
    A $500 CDN per week non-refundable deposit is payable at the time of booking. Your booking is not confirmed until this deposit has been received. The balance plus the damage deposit is due 90 days prior to arrival. Upon receipt of the balance, you will receive a check-in package including detailed information about the property and area. Payment can be made by Visa, MasterCard, personal check or money order. Please note, there is a $25.00 charge for NSF checks.
  • Damage Deposit
    A damage deposit of $250.00 is due along with any outstanding balance 90 days prior to arrival. The damage deposit will be returned to you within 14 days after your departure, provided there is no damage to the rental beyond normal wear and tear; there is no additional cleaning required and the key has been returned.

    Cancellation Policy
    Should you wish to cancel your reservation; your cancellation notice must be made in writing - either by fax, email or mail. For cancellations received between 30 and 60 days prior to your arrival date, 75% of the rental fee is forfeited. 30 days prior to the arrival date, 100% of the rental fee is forfeited. In all cases, the damage deposit of $250.00 is refunded in full. Sandy Lane Vacation Rentals will make every effort to re-rent the property, however we cannot guarantee re-rental. No-shows, late arrival and early departures after arrival are all non-refundable.
