Leadville cabin Rental Property Information

Small, Cozy, Mountain Retreat on one acre in the aspens and pines at 10,100 feet elevation. Very private. Borders San Isabel National Forest, so you can start your hike or snowshoeing right out the front door! Ski or Snowboard at Ski Cooper (25 minutes) or Copper Mountain (35 minutes) Go sledding at Leadville's wonderful Town Sledding Hill, or stay home at the cabin and sled down our very own 'sledding hill' drive-way! Have a fire going in the fire pit so everyone can warm their hands in-between runs. Sleds and Marshmallows included! Our home features beautiful slate flooring in the living room and kitchen, granite countertops, dining nook seats 4-6. Picnic table outside seats 6. Comfy New King-Size bed in carpeted master bedroom, New Queen Size Bed in large carpeted 300SF loft. (Air Mattresses also available with air pump for easy inflation ) Heated bathroom floors. (separate Toilet Room and Bath/Sink, makes bathroom use easier with several people).

Cook in the sunny kitchen, or outside on the small bar b q grill. (most staples and some spices included in the kitchen) Roast marshmallows at the firepit on the stone patio.(winter or summer!) Make smores! Look at the billions of stars visible in the night sky. Listen to the coyotes call in the distance. Then retire to your very comfortable King Size Bed with Down Comforter. (winter) All linens, towels, washcloths and tableware Included, as well as newer pots and pans. No dishwasher. Please wash your dishes before you leave. We'll do the rest. Our cabin is a wonderful place for your family to relax and enjoy the scenery and each other. Perfect for two couples with or without children, or one family with children, or as a romantic get away for a couple.

Sledding Hill on site Our guests have many happy hours sledding down our driveway, which we leave un plowed in the winter, just for this purpose! Sleds are included!

Stone Patio with Fire Pit We include marshmallows and sticks, so that all our guests can enjoy roasted marshmallows (and maybe even s'mores!) by the fire. Firewood included.

Skiing Information: Our cabin is approx 25 minutes from Ski Cooper, a wonderful family ski area, and 30 minutes from Copper Mountain Ski Area
