Delightful healing swimming with no chemicals, fabulous Kayaking,snorkeling and Fishing all on your door step. The bedrooms are private sanctuaries.There are 2 separate sleeping rooms. Kingfisher has a queen bed with 2 additional single beds. Riversong has a double bed.We have comfortable beds with cool cotton sheets, ample pillows and towels,your own private sandy beach, sun decks and a swimming pontoon. Its true, you can swim while the coffee brews, or the BBQ sizzles. Throw in a line for a fish dinner, sunbathe,build sand castles or take a lazy nap with the water at your feet.Its all here for you to enjoy.Mother Natures Bliss. Awaken to birdsong, unwind,relax.. We are 30 minutes drive from Savusavu past Namale and Koro Sun Resorts on Salt Lake Road. Salt Lake is fed by the ocean tides from the reef and the Koro Sea by the Qaloqalo salt river. The lake covers an area of about 100 acres and is a fantastic place to fish and kayak. Home of legendary sea god, Dakuwaga. The river was an ancient passage for the Fijians. See where they made the shortcut by dragging their canoes over the hills from the Salt Lake to the great Natewa Bay the largest in the South Pacific. The reef, Koro Sea and Benau lagoon are just minutes away by runabout. A favorite fishing and snorkeling area with turtles, reef fish, soft and hard corals, trevally, yellow fin and dolphin all seen here. Anglers can enjoy popping, trolling, reef and bottom fishing at affordable rates. There is also deep sea fishing, diving, yacht charters and pearl farm tours in Savusavu. Musicians can play with Andrew your host..He plays sax, we have a guitar and a keyboard you may use.

  • Deposit and cancellation policy
    50% Deposit due at time of booking. 50% balance due 30 days prior to arrival.
    Cancellations 60 days and over 75% refund . 30-59 days 50% refundable. 29 days or less non refundable.
    If deposit monies or balance are not received within stated time frames we will assume that you have cancelled your booking with us unless by arrangement.
    These conditions also apply for cancellations due to unfavourable weather conditions.
    Travel insurance is recommended. A fully refundable $200 Fiji Dollar damage bond is payable on arrival and will be refunded upon satisfactory inspection on departure. Non recoverables such as bank charges/credit card surcharges cannot be refunded and will be deducted from any refund where applicable.

    Tax is not included in the Tariff.

  • Salt lake lodge is surrounded by beautiful country side, pristine waterways,a saltwater lake and river leading to the sea. We have adopted eco conscious methods to help protect our unique environment. The bathrooms are modern, clean and comfortable.The solar hot water shower in the Kingfisher Bure has ample hot water storage.Our eco toilets are based on the clivus multrum design. They are comfortable and easy to use. They ensure zero pollution of the surrounding sea and are inside comfortable pleasant rooms. The Kingfisher Bure has a clean, tiled,solar hot water shower and a vanity with a large mirror and natural wood shelving plus an attached toilet. All our water is pure fresh rain water and is delicious to drink and bath in.The beach bar has a refreshing cool water shower that is great for rinsing off after a swim. There is also another eco toilet in the beach bar building for your convenience.We look forward to sharing our Eco paradise with you.

  • There are 2 separate screened bedrooms on each side of the beach bar building. They are quite private and surrounded by lovely gardens. Kingfisher Bure. Sleeps 4. A lovely elevated spacious screened room with views over the beach and the water. Warm, natural hardwood floors sooth the soul. You will sleep in a comfortable quality queen bed with cool cotton sheets and ample pillows. There is also a single bed and a loft with a mattress. Be caressed to sleep with the sounds of the water in the ambiance of this special space. The en suite has a tiled shower with hot water and a vanity and a toilet. There is also a private tree top deck. Riversong Bure. Sleeps 2. A cute room nestled in a private garden. The balcony has views over the beach and water. The bathroom facilities are in the beach bar building a few meters away along the garden path. There is a comfortable double bed with cotton sheets and ample pillows. You will hear the fish jumping in the night and awaken to birdsong.

Affordable Fishing Salt Lake Lodge is Situated on the Qaloqalo salt river enjoying all tide access to the salt lake, river entrance, reef, Benau lagoon and the Koro Sea. All just minutes away by 14 foot runabout and 8 hp motor. Anglers can experience trolling, popping, and bottom fishing. Mangrove jacks, barracudas, sailfish, trevalli, yellow fin tuna and reef fish all caught here. Boat hire with guide $30 fj per hour with own gear and fiji $40 per hour with gear provided. Life jackets are provided. You can also fish from the beach, pontoon or jetty at the lodge.Great for family fishing as the kids can have a line in while you relax in the shade with a cool drink.Hand Lines are provided free.

Kayaking On Salt Lake, Get Back To Nature Kayak from Salt Lake Lodge along the Qaloqalo River past mature mangrove forests to the beautiful Salt Lake which covers an area of about 100 acres. Fed by the ocean tides the lake is a favorite fishing spot. Legendary home of Dakuwaga the Sea God. Retrace the path of the ancient Fijians who used the waterway as a short cut to Natewa bay. See where they dragged their canoes over the hills which separate the lake from the great Natewa bay, the largest in the south pacific Single kayaks are free for our guests. Double kayaks are fiji $30 per day for guests.

Snorkelling And Diving Snorkeling trips to beautiful Benau lagoon, the reef and the passage are just 10 minutes from the Lodge by boat $30 fj per hour, for up to 4 people, min 2 hours.Snorkel hire $10 each. Life jackets and a guide are included. See what mother nature has to offer in this island paradise. Soft and hard corals,clam shells and schools of colourful fish.Turtles and dolphin frequent the passage beside Bat Island . Koro sun dive is a 15 minute drive from Salt Lake Lodge. They offer padi dive courses, day trips, and night dives they come highly recommended by our guests. Savusavu also has several dive shops including diving at Couseau Resort.

Golf Information: Koro Sun Resort has a golf course.
