It offers three swimming pools, nine tennis courts with a pro shop, racquetball court, and fitness club. Kids especially like the playgrounds and lagoons with fish, ducks, and turtles. Evenings can be enjoyed at the community's gazebos and barbeque areas, with community-organized events, or walking the miles of peaceful beach. Within a biking distance of the Island Club is a miniature golf area and shopping arena the offers pizza, ice cream, shops, and movie rental. There are two malls within a 10 minute drive as well as Hilton Head's famous golf courses. Who can forget the famous light house?
