Beach Details Two miles from South Beach for nice surf. A quieter calmer beach in town, about a mile away, but by bike only. There's also state beach about five miles away, with always calm surf, which is great for smaller children. Swimming also at Edgartown Great Pond, but bring water shoes.

Bike Trails Bike trails are nearby and go to South Beach or to town, or to the state forest where there is a great trail for both biking and roller blading. Can also bike to Oak Bluffs or Vineyard Haven on bike paths.
