Tybee Island condo Rental Property Information

The Sandpiper Condominiums is a gated community with covered parking. This luxurious 1350 sq ft 3 BR 2 bathroom condominium was recently completely refurnished. From both the balcony and the MBR you can enjoy a partial view of the ocean. The spacious living room has a complete entertainment system including a 36” TV with +75 cable channels, DVD, stereo with CD, and high speed Internet. Also TVs in all 3 bedrooms. The DR table comfortably seats 6 plus the kitchen eating area seats 4 more. This comfortable and functional kitchen is fully equipped and ready for some serious cooking or entertaining! This beautifully furnished condo comfortably sleeps 8 persons. The MBR has a queen sized bed and a fantastic master bathroom. Both of the guest rooms have twin beds that can easily be rolled together to make a king sized bed. The living room has a very comfortable 7’ wide couch with queen size pull out bed.

The Sandpiper Condominiums are located right on “the Strand” in the heart of the south end of the island. This is a gated community built in 2000 and has only 24 units. The buildings are made of steel and concrete which ensures a safe and quiet stay. From the covered parking area you are only steps away from the beach and with in walking distance of shopping and eating out. Once you arrive there are few reasons to start your car again until departure time. The comfortable and functional kitchen is fully equipped and ready for some serious cooking or entertaining! The Corian counter top has been extended to create additional seating. There are built in wine bottle racks for the serious wine connoisseurs.

About Tybee Island Tybee, which meant “salt” in Native Americans, is the northernmost barrier island along the Georgia Colonial Coast. Tybee has nearly 3 miles of sandy beaches, perfect for sunbathing, water sports, kayaking, fishing and people watching. The north end of the island offers history enthusiasts a variety of sites such as Fort Screven, a Spanish War era fortification, the Tybee Museum, and Georgia’s oldest and tallest lighthouse. A few miles west on Highway 80, visitors may enjoy a trip to Ft. Pulaski National Monument, which played a vital role in the Civil War, and the old Savannah Tybee Railroad Trail, a 6.5 mile path where walkers, joggers, and cyclists enjoy the scenic tree lined trail with excellent marsh and river views.

Guest Book 'We LOVED it. The condo was so spacious, clean and very family friendly. There were board games as well as other entertainment options (movie players etc). There is not one detail the owners of this condo have not thought of. We felt like we were at a resort or five star hotel. Decorated very nicely. This was so close (walking distance) to everything, including the aquarium. We HIGHLY recommend this property. Would we choose to stay here again, ABSOLUTELY. We have two boys 3 and 6.' Right on the beach, next to the pier and right by restaurants and stores, plenty of space to spread out in and enjoy the day, coffee on the private patio/deck, what more could you ask for??
