Casa Yin Yang is located in the little surf town of playa Santa Teresa, in the Malpais area at the southern tip of the Nicoya Peninsula. By car it's 45 km from the Paquera Ferry. There's also a domestic airport in Tambor only 1 hour from the house. Casa Yin Yang is located in the middle of Santa Teresa beach and only 5 minutes from the town center. Santa Teresa is well know for the consistent and pristine surf , white sand beaches and colorful sunsets.This part of the country is an ideal place to relax, enjoy nature, surf, practice yoga, eat healthy and spend quality time with friends and family. There's no reef in front of the house and that makes surfing and swimming more enjoyable. The house is close to restaurants, shops, supermarkets and hotels. It's only 15 minutes drive to Malpais and El Carmen beach. The nearby beaches of Hermosa,Manzanillo, Cabuya,Montezuma (town and waterfall),Tortuga Island and Cabo Blanco National park are less than an hour drive from the house.

The house Casa Yin Yang has an open terrace with a dining set for 6 people and a Indonesian style rattan living room set. Adjacent to the terrace is the pool and 8 person jacuzzi, a typical palm roof 'rancho' with hammocks and a sun deck. The social area enjoys beautiful views of the ocean, waves, giant plumeria trees and tropical gardens. The kitchen is the heart of the house, and has stainless steel GE Profile appliances (bottom freezer refrigerator, 5 burner convection oven, dishwasher, extractor, garbage disposal). The main sink looks to the ocean and there's a second sink built into the kitchen island. You'll find this gourmet kitchen complete with Columbia stone counter tops, stainless steel cookware, a Sonoma outdoor gas grill area and virtually everything you need to prepare any meal. The living room has a 37 inch plasma TV w/Sky satellite and DVD, & comfortable 'L' shape sofa for 8. The laundry area is ample & has several lines to hang wet clothes, a large sink and GE washer and dryer.

The rooms The bedroom area is separated from the social area by an internal ying yang (Japanese style garden). The master bedroom has wonderful views of the gardens and ocean and is only steps to the jacuzzi and pool. The over sized master bathroom has 'his and hers' hand carved natural stone sinks with customs cedar cabinetry.
