Manuel Antonio house Rental Property Information

Casa Voladora sits on a cliff overlooking Punta Quepos and Manuel Antonio National Park. It is a 10-15 minute walk to both Playa Espadilla and Playa Biesanz. Playa Espadilla is great for surfing and body boarding while Playa Biesanz is more protected and better for snorkeling and swimming. The house was designed by an award-winning architect to bring the area’s natural beauty right into the house. There are breathtaking views from every window and terrace. Even the bathroom has a spectacular view. A tropical forest surrounds the back of the house providing privacy and a front row seat to Costa Rica’s exotic plants and wildlife. The house has one private bedroom on the second floor and is best suitable for a couple, although the downstairs daybed is suitable to sleep one more. It is an intimate and romantic setting with several private terraces, including one in the master bedroom. The architect designed the house in a European style. It is simple and elegant in its construction.

Manuel Antonio National Park is one of Costa Rica 's best known and most often visited parks.The area is home to over 353 species of birds. Howler and white-faced monkeys, two-toed and three-toed sloths, coati-mundi and raccoons frequent the beaches in and outside the Park. The National Park area offers some of the best beaches on Costa Rica 's Pacific coast for surfing, swimming and snorkeling. Within the area, there is much to enjoy; bird watching, hiking, kayaking, horseback riding, and boat trips for fishing or to watch dolphins. Located besides the town of Quepos in the Central Pacific Zone, the area is one of the most beautiful in Costa Rica.

  • There is a newly renovated beautiful blue tiled bathroom with shower/toilet/sink inside and an additional private outdoor shower in back of the house. Both showers have hot water.

  • There is one bedroom upstairs with a bed for two persons. It is equipped with mosquito netting and has a little deck off the front of it as well. The house has 4 decks. There is a large daybed downstairs that one person could sleep on if necessary, but it is not truly a bed. You can see it in the picture entitled 'living room' on our pictures section.

Stunning House in Beautiful Manuel Antonio The house has fantastic views of Playa Biesanz, Playa Espadilla and Manuel Antonio National Parque. There are often white faced monkeys that use the trees by the house as a route to get down to the beach. Toucans and sloths have been seen as well. There is also a luggage elevator that will ensure that the only thing you need to get up the stairs is yourself and our onsite caretaker, Bismark, who can help you with your items.

Walk to the Beach/Walk to Bus It's a 10-15 walk from the house down to the main beach, Playa Espadilla. This beach is good for bodysurfing, boogie boarding or surfing or swimming in the waves. You can swim here or keep walking along the beach (20 min.) to the National Parque. You could also walk (15-20 minutes) to Playa Biesanz which is a protected bay and good for swimming. They are both easily accessible from the house. It is about a 10 minute walk up the hill to the main road where the buses run as well. These buses go into Manuel Antonio and Quepos about every half hour.
