There Are Numerous Summer Happenings in Town, with Outdoor Evening Concerts, Theater, Movies, and Other Fun Events. Most Notable is the Annual Yankee Homecoming Festival Which Runs at the End of July - Beginning of August. Hiking, Biking, Fishing, Wildlife Viewing, Shopping, Restaurants, Cinemas, Sightseeing, Swimming, Boating, Sailing, Surfing, Windsurfing. Outlets in Kittery are 45 minute drive. Buses to Boston available in Newburyport. This island is a great location for families wanting to travel to a pleasant beach area, without all the tourists.
