This fun, family-friendly, custom home is situated on a very private, gated, 4 acre wooded lot, was built in 1998 and has 3 large bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. Sit on the front or back porch with your morning coffee and watch the wildlife and birds and dine under the stars at night. The Master bedroom is huge and has a king bed, crib, spacious bathroom with jetted tub and walk-in shower. Second bedroom has a queen bed and a twin sofa bed. The third bedroom has a queen bed and a full bed and overlooks the lake. The 2nd & 3rd bedrooms share a full bath, and a half bath is right outside the 3rd bedroom. There is a sofa bed in the living room, two inflatables and a full-height inflatable Aerobed with headboard! The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare a nice meal for your family. Located on the beautiful , hilly, wooded, south side of Richland Chambers Lake - conveniently located 1 1/2 hours south of Dallas and 2 1/2 north of Houston. Also an hour to Waco (Baylor University), 1 3/4 hours to College Station (Texas A&M), and 2 hours to Austin (University of Texas). Located between Corsicana and Fairfield approximately 7 miles east of I45. Several local restaurants nearby, or visit Corsicana for Chili's and many other chain-type restaurants. When in Corsicana, don't miss the historic Collin Street Bakery, Gander Mountain and fabulous Trimmings Outlet at Exit 229 off I45. About 30 minutes from the Rural Shade ATV Ranch! Richland Chambers featured in D Magazine! Richland Chambers, at almost 45,000 acres is the third largest (and newest lake) in Texas and was named 'Still Undiscovered' by D Magazine! (Which means you won't see a lot of boating traffic -- even on holiday weekends!) Richland Chambers was also named as one of the area's 'Most Beautiful Lakes', 'Best Fishing Lakes', 'Best Skiing Lakes', 'Best Sailing Lakes', and 'Closest Lake without Shoreline Restrictions',
Guest Book 6/30/07 - Lovely home, lovely location - very private and secluded - even better than described in listing. View from back porch was spectacular - just steps from the water. Nicest lake house we've ever rented - and we've stayed in many! House was spotless, kitchen had everything you could possible hope to need. Can't forget to mention the linens! I'd guess the sheets were 600ct at least and the luxurious down duvets - just like 5-star hotels. We will definitely come back for another visit! 6/13/07 Great place with everything you need! The location is very peaceful with the lake just out the back door. Easy for the kids to fish and explore the property. You feel like you are camping but have the wonderful amenities of a nice home. 4/24/07 - This rental is PERFECT!!! Every detail has been attended to and nothing was left out. The accommodations are equal to 5 star and the location is perfect. We would recommend this rental to anyone who wants to go first class!
