Location: This remodeled year round home is a short walk to the waterfront of historic Lake Champlain. All water sports are available here supported by a marina close by. Watch the sunset over Lake Placid, N.Y.! From the City of Vergennes, VT Take Route 7 north 4 miles to North Ferrisburg village, turn left on Stage Road ( west ) go 1 mile, take a left at stop sign, then an immediate right on Long Point Road. Continue 2 miles west on Long Point Road into the Long Point Association ( sign ). When you pass the tennis court on the right, make a right onto Bay Road. Continue through the trees and pull into 388 Bay Road. Coming from the north (Burlington), go approximately 20 miles south on US Route 7 and take a right on Stage Road in North Ferrisburg Village. Key landmark is the Mobil Short Stop on the corner of U.S. Rte 7 and Stage Road.

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

  • $1200-$1800 weekly, please inquire.
  • Check in 4 PM on 1st day and check out 11 AM of last day for all rentals.

    Deposits-35% of rental fee due at reservation 35% due for Peak summer reservations and Holidays.
    $350.00 security deposit required plus remaining balance of rental fee due 8 weeks in advance to reservation dates.

    Security Deposit refunded in full on final day after cabin inspection.

    Refunds-If you cancel for any reason 3 months before your reservation we will refund you in full minus the 35% paid at booking if we can re-rent. If you cancel less then 3 months before your reservation, your rent cannot be refunded unless the vacation rental is re-rented (and then less a $350 deposit and 35% of rental fee).
  • Weekly rates are $1800 peak,$1350 spring & fall, $1200 off peak winter

    9%VT Rooms and Meals state tax not included.
    $50 cleaning fee assessed on short stay reservations

  • The main floor bath is a very large full bath with a tub shower located adjacent the 1st floor bedroom. The second floor bath is between the upstairs bedrooms. Both have been repainted and serviced. With basic amenities provided All towels are provided for your vacation ease. No need to bring them with you. Starter amenities such as shampoo, hand soap etc.. provided.

  • The master bedroom has a Caribbean Queen bed, and a davenport couch pull out full bed ,with large closets and cathedral ceilings. This is a wonder romantic getaway! The second upstairs bedroom has a queen bed and shares a 2nd floor bathroom. The main floor bedroom has two twin beds and is next to a full bathroom. Ideal for elderly guests! The den is in the back of the house putting some quiet distance between children and adults. It is set up with a full size futon bed with a DVD player for the kids to watch movies while the adults enjoy the sunset from the living room. The home was completely repainted in '06 and has a fresh, airy, comfortable feel. All linens and towels are provided. Basic starter supplies are there for your arrival. Sleeps 6 privately in three bedrooms, 10when using den and reading room for whole house.

You can walk right to the water without steps, rare to southern Lake Champlain properties. Bring your own boat as we do have a 250lb mushroom mooring available. Boat rentals are available at Point Bay Marina in Charlotte,VT. Kayak available to our guests. Dee's Lake House is situated in private association, ideal for walking, bicycling, hiking. Long Point Bay is suitable for small children with floaties. Bring your water shoes or Teva sandals. Jet skis, fishing boats, kayaks, canoes, sailboats ,floating raft, inner tubes etc... can all be used in the open lake. Quiet and private for a small group, open and sprawling for large groups.

Day trips include Lake Placid, Montreal, Burlington, and Middlebury.

Winter Time in Vermont Have a relaxing time in Vermont right near Lake Champlain. Enjoy the snow covered mountains and lake. Sit by the fireplace while enjoying a hot drink and watching the snow fall out your windows. Great for a romantic getaway for you and your loved one to relax and unwind. 5 major ski areas all withing driving distance. All linens and towels provided very quiet in the winter. Off peak rates!

Skiing Information: We are close to five major ski areas. Whiteface, NY., Bolton Valley, VT, Smugglers Notch, VT, Stowe, VT, and Sugarbush, VT. Come enjoy the winter with the fireplace to come home to after a long day of skiing! Build snowmen with the kids go sledding enjoy some Great ice fishing on the lake! We have both cross country skiing and snowshoeing from our door. All winter sports can be enjoyed here. This winter we had snow from November-April! 200'
