The lower level, which also opens up to the same beautiful Southern exposure with views and deck, has a large sweeping bar area with prep kitchen, ping-pong table, piano, pool table, Vintage Tommy pinball machine as well as bright and sunny indoor pool. His and hers changing areas are a fun bonus... several large, double doors open this indoor pool area to the outside and bring fresh air in during warmer months. Great Barrington is host to great restaurants, shops, ski resorts, live theatre and dance, art galleries, coffee shops, and museums. There are fishing streams, clean river swimming, and swim ponds close-by. There is horseback riding, summer camps, scenic roads and hiking. Of course the Berkshires are famous for Jacob's pillow Dance festival, Tanglewood, Shakespeare and Company, Berkshire Theatre Festival and other music and county fair summer festivals. Its all located within minutes. Ski Butternut is 10 minutes away and ski Catamount is only 5.
