Playa Hermosa is a small quaint town that is a short 20 minute drive from the Liberia Airport. There are restaurants within a 3-5 minute drive. The next largest town is Playa del Cocos, a charming but bustling (in a small way) community of surf shops, restaurants, grocery store, souvenir shops, a harbour and a beach. Playa del Cocos is a 10 minute drive (or cab) from Villas Sol.

Why Choose Our Villa? We recently purchased this villa and being a Realtor myself, I was very selective in our purchasing decision. I wanted to find a property that would feel like a home away from home. If you've been to Costa Rica before, you can truly appreciate that it is only a 20 minute drive from the Liberia airport, as opposed to hours on bumpy, rutted roads. We are in a gated community that has everything a family or couple could want. You could remain on-site your whole stay or easily rent a car (on-site) for a day or two. There is a very nice all inclusive food and beverage plan if you choose to use it. The closest town, Playa del Coco is a 10 minute drive or a short cab ride which offers many other restaurant options as well as a grocery store if you choose to cook. Offsite activities (fishing, scuba, zip line, etc.) can be booked on-site at the Concierge office.
