Live entertainment is featured aboard the Southern Empress Paddle Wheeler dinner cruise as well. Fishing is hot at Lake Conroe with catches of black bass, white bass, catfish, crappie & striper common. Fishing guide services are readily available. There are more than a dozen pubic golf courses to choose from in the immediate area. Shopping is not far away at the Conroe outlet mall as well as the Woodlands shopping complex. Old Montgomery offers a glimpse of Texas’s early history (Third oldest town in Texas and birthplace of the Texas flag) and offers unique antique shopping at it’s best.
