Looking for some R & R? Honeysuckle Mountain Hideaway is an authentic log wood and chink cabin in the wilderness! It's the perfect getaway for couples, friends, or small families. Sounds of nature can be heard right off the screened lanai. You can sip a glass of wine or have your morning coffee while watching the squirrels scurry about. The neighborhood is serene and offers great walking paths and hiking trails. For the kids, we have an air hockey table and PlayStation. There are also board games, Directv with movie channels, and a DVD/VCR player in the cabin for all to enjoy. At Honeysuckle Mountain Hideaway, we want you to relax and enjoy yourself. Read a book, play a game, watch a movie, or take a nap! We've supplied the cabin with all items necessary for a little rest & relaxation.

Located in the North Georgia Mountains, Honeysuckle Mountain Hideaway is just a short drive from Atlanta. Only 2 hours away from the city and you're in nature! From Atlanta, take I-75N to I-575N and then continue on 515N/5N/76E to Blue Ridge. Turn right on GA-60 for 12 miles. Turn right on Dial road for 2 miles. Then turn right into the Heatherwood I subdivision onto Mountain Creek Road to Chinkapin Drive to Honeysuckle Way. Look for #72! We're in the mountains and just a 1/2 mile from river access on the Toccoa! The North Georgia Mountains are a beautiful place to visit in every season! Spring is a great time for fishing, cycling, or hiking trails. Summer is a fun time for mountain biking or water sports: canoeing, kayaking, and tubing. Fall is a fantastic time to view autumn foliage...beautiful leaf changes! Winter, of course, is a perfect time for curling up in front of the wood-burning fireplace and sip cocoa or go antique shopping!

Aska Adventure Area Honeysuckle Mountain Hideaway is located in the Aska Adventure Area. This part of the North Georgia Mountains is an area of exploration. There are many mountain biking, hiking, and canoeing trails. For those adventurous souls, there is also kayaking, horseback riding, tubing, and white water river rafting. Fishing is popular with the guys, and the ladies enjoy shopping in downtown Blue Ridge at the country stores and antique shops. In the cabin, we have a book that is full of fun activities to do in the Aska Adventure Area and the locations of waterfalls, trails, restaurants, etc.
Mountain Bikers & Cyclists Mountain Bikers have ample trails to ride on, including Flat Creek Loop, Long Branch Loop, and Stanley Gap Trail to name a few. The trails range from beginner to intermediate to expert, are open to the public year round, and range in length from 1 to 10 miles. The trails ascend to near 3,200 ft, providing vistas of mountain ridges, and descend to the shores of Lake Blue Ridge. Cyclists also have the opportunity to ride the same roads as those in the Tour de Georgia! Rides offer spectacular views, challenging climbs, and fast downhill adventures!
