Surry house Rental Property Information

This brand new, 2400 Sq. Ft. custom post and beam style home is located on pristine Toddy Pond in Surry Maine. Ideal location 2 miles off of the Acadia hwy, half hour travel to Bar Harbor's Acadia National Park, half hour from Bangor International Airport. Enjoy sandy shore frontage on a quite cove. Relax or cook out on a large wrap around porch. Public boat launch close by. Free use of our canoe and kayaks. Home has all amenities, laundry, gourmet kitchen, gas fire place. The master suite is very large, 24X24, and located on the second floor with it's own private bath and sitting room overlooking the lake. For an added bonus there is a 14X30 bunkhouse at the waters edge. Contains cooking facilities, an extra bedroom, powder room, and screen porch. Toddy pond is a 12 mile long pond, over 100 feet deep in areas. Great for seasonal and ice fishing. This property is ideal for any vacationer. Bask on the beach, relax in the hammock, tour parks, see the ocean side towns.

Surry is a lovely coastal Maine town. Our property is on Toddy pond, which is considered to be a highly desirable body of water. Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park are close by. Acadia National park is lovely no matter what season you visit. We recommend spring through fall for the parks for full access. Acadia Park is the second most visited National Park in the Country. Down town Bar Harbor is a beautiful coastal town, containing many antique shops, fine dining and activities too numerous to list. You can visit many other coastal Maine towns all located within a half hour drive. Bucksport is 10 minutes away. This town has shopping facilities and Fort Knox, a Civil War Fort. Bangor is the closest major town and is within a half hour drive. This city contains an international airport, and many major shopping facilities, outlet malls, and restaurants. Bangor has a lovely riverfront and is home to a large 'Folk' festival during the summer. Great location, prime lake living.

  • The master bathroom is on the second floor, attached to the master suite. It contains a very large soaking tub and shower. Two other bathrooms are located on the first floor attached to the two other bedrooms. One contains a shower/tub combination the other contains a shower with a seat. There is a powder room in the bunkhouse by the water as well.

  • Master second floor suite with private bath. Queen bed with additional Queen size trundle bed that can be pulled out. This is a very large bedroom with a lovely sitting room overlooking the lake. Hickory hardwood flooring and ceramic tile bathroom. Massive vaulted ceiling with ceiling fans. The two downstairs bedrooms each have a private bathroom and contain two twin beds per room each with pull out trundle beds. Ceiling fans are standard in these bedrooms as well. The large living room has a very nice Queen size futon as well. The Bunk house by the water can sleep three people comfortably.
