Mother nature covers the area with 125' of snow every year which allows for great ski conditions through April. This area has majestic natural beauty and stunning landscape for hiking, cross-country skiing, ice climbing and snowshoeing.
Dining Relax at one of Hunter Mountain and the Kaatskill Mountain Club's 12 slopeside eateries, serving superb cuisine, healthy salads, soups and sandwiches. The surrounding community offers an even wider selection of dining options at elegant dining rooms, charming pubs and casual restaurants. You are sure to find something that perfectly suits your palate and wallet.
Activities Antique shops, art exhibits, craft displays and local produce enliven the surrounding towns Hunter, Tannersville, and historic Woodstock! After hours, the town comes alive with the Catskill Mountain Foundation's presentation of movies, performances and concerts throughout the winter.
