Day Trips Tomales is 10 minutes away - a country town with general story, bakery (get there early), restaurant, and quaint churches. Bodega Bay lies to the north - 30 minutes. Enjoy shopping, restaurants and the great views. Travel south on Highway 1 along Tomales bay to Point Reyes Station (40 minutes) - enjoy great views and seafood along the way. Visit Inverness and Point Reyes National Seashore while you are there. Explore the back roads of Marin County and enjoy the scenery - farms, rolling hills, solitude. Within an hour visit Novato, San Rafael, Southern Marin or enjoy the Sonoma wine country.

Biking If you like to road bike (bicycle), the back roads of Marin are fabulous.
