Boating Duxbury Bay is the best boating and fishing area on the south shore. If you trailer your boat you may launch it at Duxbury Marina, 3 miles from the house by car and half a mile by water to our beach. You may anchor your boat overnight in front of the beach. At low tide it rests on the sandy flats. Duxbury Bay is a mostly closed body of water with one wide opening to Cape Cod Bay so we do not get the large ocean swells. On rough days we get 1-2 foot white caps only and you can always find calm coves or tidal rivers to explore.

Kayaking Kayakers have discovered that it does not get any better than paddling around Duxbury Bay. You can spend a week and still not explore it all.

Golf Information: North Hill is the public course in Duxbury. Other public courses in adjacent towns of Plymouth, Marshfield and Pembroke
