Crested Butte condo Rental Property Information

This open, comfortably and tastefully decorated, single floor design condo has a spacious living room and dining room and a full deck from which you can enjoy spectacular views of the mountain. Awake and enjoy breakfast on the deck or in the dining room as the sun peeks over the mountain. Lounge around the fireplace and just kick back after a fun day skiing, hiking, biking, or horseback riding. Close to the slopes, with free shuttle service, the condo has a fully equipped kitchen, full size washer and dryer, gas grill on the front deck, free firewood, high speed Internet, and garage. The master bedroom has a king bed, private bath and deck. The second bedroom has a queen bed and the 3rd has 2 singles.

Our condo is located 3/10ths of a mile from the ski area of Mt. Crested Butte. A free shuttle runs from the ski area to and from the condo regularly all year. We are on the first stop from the ski area. There also is a free shuttle to the very nearby Victorian town of Crested Butte with its fine restaurants, fun shopping, and great folks. Crested Butte regularly hosts a variety of events every year which usually include a Wild flower festival and a music festival. If you love the mountains, you will love the Mt. Crested Butte area winter, spring, summer, and fall. It is a great place to ski - generally short lift lines, a great place to hike, bike, or horseback ride.

Cloths washer and dryer are located in a closet near the bedroom. Ironing board, vacuum cleaner, and step ladder are located in the broom closet near the entrance door. We also have a one car garage located beneath the Condo for your use, with additional off road parking outside. The front deck has a small table with 4 chairs. The private deck off the Master bedroom has 2 chairs and a small side table. There is a tennis court, outdoor hot tub with changing room, and an outdoor grill with nearby seating on the complex. All necessary linens, cooking utensils, dinner and glassware are provided. High-speed cable Internet at DSL speeds to be installed November 06.

Skiing Information: Crested Butte Mountain Resort ski season opens November 18, 2006 and closes April 8, 2007. The Mountain is serviced by 15 lifts including 3 high-speed quad chairs, 2 fixed grip quads, 3 triple chairs, 3 double chairs, 2 surface lifts, & 2 magic carpets for kids. Lifts open at 9 am and close at 4 pm. There are 121 trails - 23% beginner, 57% intermediate, and 20% advanced. The vertical lift is 2,775 ft/846m that is lift served and 3,062ft/933m with a short hike. The longest run is 2.6 miles from the Peak to Treasury. There are 282 acres of snowmaking covered by 13 of 15 lifts. The mountain also sports a super pipe, terrain parks open to skiers, snowboarders, and snow skates, and a children's' tubing hill. CB Mountain Resort also features and Adaptive Sports Center that provides year-round outdoor recreation activities for people with disabilities. It is just a great place to ski, especially for folks with families.

Golf Information: For the golfers, the Club at Crested Butte, our local country club and golf course, is open to the public. As there advertisement says, 'Hitting a golf ball at 9,000 ft. will do a lot for your ego.'
