Bicycle or rollerblading on the beautiful California Strand, or just relaxing at the beach. Only a few blocks to the market, local bakery and fine shopping and dining at downtown Manhattan Beach. 45 minutes to Disneyland - Knottsberry Farm - Universal Studios - Hollywood. Beverly Hills is about thirty something minutes away as well as Santa Monica. Conveniently located near LAX and the 105 freeway.

Surfing, bicycling, skating, swimming, running. A hop, skip and a jump, and you are on the Strand which is akin to the boardwalk back East that takes you right along side the sand and beach as far as the eye can see in either direction. Young and old alike bike ride on the lower path or skate. People watching is paramount. Beware of neck injuries. The upper path is just for walking or running. You are two hours from snowskiing locally or seven if you are heading for Mammouth. The Theater district is probably about forty minutes away but we do have several outstanding local playhouses that are eight or so minutes away that are quite renowned.
