Fairplay cabin Rental Property Information

The Willis Retreat sets the standard in Park County for comfort, seclusion, complete amenities, easy access, and all the beauty of the Colorado Rockies at an affordable price. The Retreat sits on 5 acres of pine and aspen to give you plenty of privacy (there isn't another cabin in sight!), and its only one mile off Highway 9. There's plenty of room at the Retreat with its 2,500 square feet, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, giant two-car garage and carport, a paved driveway and two large storage sheds. The interior features a well-appointed kitchen attached to the huge Great Room that includes a Flatpanel LCD HDTV with +70 Hi-def channels plus wireless broadband internet access. A large deck sits off the Great Room while the lower deck features a new 6-person hot tub with outdoor speakers. Absolutely the best in the Fairplay area. Compare our location to any other Fairplay rental and you'll see what we mean. The cabin is located 2 miles north of Fairplay and just 1 mile off Highway 9, so its easy to reach throughout the year. It's a 5 minute drive into town to get to the grocery store, the gas station, etc. The cabin is 19 miles south of Breckenridge so roughly a 30 minute drive over beautiful Hoosier Pass, and just 65 miles to Denver. The road leading to the cabin is an Emergency Snow Route so its maintained and plowed by the County and is easily accessible even when the snow falls. Many folks who have never been to the area may not realize that it makes a big difference to be located north of Fairplay, particularly during the Winter. This can save you a lot of time if you plan on going to Breckenridge or Summit County for the day. Since the Willis Retreat is located north of Fairplay you'll find access to Breckenridge to be quick and very convenient.

About the Retreat: There's plenty of room at the Retreat with its 2,500 square feet, four bedrooms, two bathrooms, giant two-car garage and carport, a paved driveway and two large storage sheds. The interior features a recently remodeled and well-appointed kitchen attached to the huge Great Room which includes a 32 inch Flatpanel LCD HDTV w/Direct TV service and +70 Hi-def channels, CD/DVD player, VCR, and stereo system. A large deck sits off the Great Room for relaxing under the stars and viewing the wildlife that passes through the property. Need to stay connected while you're on vacation? Feel free to bring your laptop and tap into our high-speed wireless network so you can check your emails, surf the internet, etc. The lower deck features a 6-person hot tub that is protected from the elements but offers terrific views and plenty of privacy. There are also outdoor speakers connected to a stereo and satellite dish so you can listen to commercial-free digital music.

A Few More Details... You'll find a California King log bed in the master bedroom and a queen bed in the second bedroom. The kid's room includes bunk beds and the 'game room' bedroom has a twin futon sleeper. There is also a queen-sized sofa sleeper in the Great Room. There is a 20' flat screen TV in the Master bedroom and a 20' TV in the Gameroom bedroom along with a Sony PlayStation 2 plus a selection of video games and video movies ranging from kids to adults. The cabin is pet-friendly and has a large dog run in the back yard when you want to keep your dog secured outside. If you would like a little more room to walk your dog than our 5 acres, Pike National Forest is just two miles down the road.
