US131 North. Exit 180. It will read M-55 (Lake City or Houghton Lake). Turn right, (East) onto M-55. Go about 3.2 miles to Lachance Rd. You will see a Wolverine Power sign and a sign for Jennings. This is Lachance Road. Turn Left (North) onto Lachance. Go another 3 miles to Jennings Road. (About ½ mile past a gas station you will see the sign for Lake City / Jennings Road.) Turn Right (East) onto Jennings Road. After about ½ to ¾ miles the road will begin to curve to the right. There will be a cross road at the curve. (The south side is Blodgett Road and the North side is South Duck Point.) Turn Left (North). This will be a dirt road. Follow the road for a few hundred feet and you will see a big wooden sign that reads Peterson Point. Turn right.
