Masca cabin Rental Property Information

Retreat features pristine white sand beaches and cloud Forest Mountain Views. The jungle marches right down to the Sea. A wonderful place to just relax and enjoy natures beauty. The Caribbean sea is calm with clear waters. Walk or Kayak along the beach to Trujillo to the East or the Village of Santa Fe to the West. Cabana has a Ocean View and a large front porch to enjoy it from. Pool table is located in the main house and you are also welcome to relax on the porch and veranda. Kitchenettes are available if you desire. Visit the Restaurant next door and enjoy native fare cooked on a adobe oven. You can also take a refreshing swim in the pool while you are there. There is an old museum in Trujillo that you may never see the likes of. The Fort is also a great place to spend some time at.

Trujillo is a very histortic town. Christoper Columbus landed here in the 1500's. The Santa Barbar Fortress was built in 1575 and is a pleasant place to spend a few hours. The Silvestre Lagoon is a wildlife refuge an d mangrove lagoon located 5 km northwest of Trujillo. Not far from town there are a couple of waterfalls. Hiking trails also abound in the mountains behind the town. The tourist information center has maps to the waterfalls and can help you arrange a trip to the Lagoona.
