Further Details for the house in Northern Michigan, Michigan, USA

General Information The public access to the lake is about 1/2 mile south of the house. The dock can accomodate up to about a 21 ft boat. Bumpers and tie downs are not supplied. The waterfront is hard bottom sand with a sun dock going into the water so you can lounge in the water and be right there with little kids. The lake has a gradual slope and goes out about 20 ft before getting chin deep. The lake is not weedy. Fishing is good if you know how to fish and adequate if you just want to hook a worm and drop a line. There is a big yard that can accomodate most yard games (croquet, badmitton, volleyball, frisbee, etc.) There are many good places to eat. East Jordan has the best family value dining. Charlevoix is a little more upscale and touristy. Bellaire has some good choices as well.
