In winter, the Valley is alive with its abundant ski and snow board activities on Mt. Tecumseh, plus cross-country skiing, snow shoeing, indoor swimming and tennis, hockey, and ice skating. The 1st floor has a living room, featuring a double-sided fireplace which opens to the kitchen and dining rooms, den with queen sized sofa bed, cable television and VCR/DVD, fully equipped kitchen with microwave oven and dishwasher, dining room, and a 1/2 bath. The second floor has two bedrooms, each with twin beds, washer and dryer and a full bath. On the third floor is the Master Suite, with queen-sized bed, a full bath that features full-size Jacuzzi and skylight, and TV.

Its village core is one of the first in the East and the mountain's 2,000-foot vertical drop is exceptionally appealing. Waterville consistently hosts major international races, including many memorable World Cups. Kids did well with the addition of a new smaller terrain park, and an all-access daily lift ticket that lets kids try out snow tubes, ski bikes, snowscoots, ski foxes, and snow blades in the Exhibition Park. Recent upgrades included 'Old T Trees' - 4.5 acres of new, intermediate gladed runs - daily trails maps with the most up-to-date information on conditions and activities, and a new Camoplast snow groomer.
