Bologna farmhouse Rental Property Information
Casa Melagrano is a recently restored, charming Italian farm house using its original stones. This house stands on top of 30 acres surrounded by 360 degrees of meadows, mountains and woodland with magnificent views of the local countryside and distant 'borgos' (small villages), that dot the Appenine hillside. The house is approached by a private road and is off the beaten track. Airy comfortable rooms, will comfortably accommodate eight people and is equipped with all amenities for a trouble free relaxing holiday to remember. There is a 10 X 5 meter outdoor private swimming pool with a patio deck gazebo and BBQ overlooking the pool for entertainment.

Just south of Bologna, you exit the motorway at Casalecchio or Sasso Marconi and from there ascend towards the Apennines, you will find yourself in the midst of oaks and chestnut thickets, hills and valleys that go from three hundred to a thousand meters, changing all the time in breathtaking views and colours. These are the Apennine Valleys between the river Reno and Panaro. The area is rural and very little English spoken, but the local Italians are very friendly and helpful,especially if you try to speak a few words of Italian.
