Camden house Rental Property Information

Our home, Captain Taylor, is spacious and welcoming! We are an easy walk to the beautiful Camden Harbor where you can enjoy Windjammer sailing, shops, restaurants, library, amphitheater and Camden Opera House. This rental encompasses the second and third floor of Captain Taylor house and is approx 3000 sq. ft. Four bedrooms have queen beds. One bedroom has two twin beds and one bedroom has a twin bed with a trundle. There is a large back porch off the gourmet kitchen where you can view Mt Battie or venture a hike up on one of many trails. Perfect for large family get-aways! *This Unit may be combined with downstairs, 3 bedroom, apartment based on availability. Please e-mail for details.

We are located within a very short walk to the harbor. You can leave the car at the house and walk to all the shops and restaurants that Camden Village has to offer. Take in a sunset cruise on a windjammer, enjoy a concert in the Amphitheater, hike up Mt. Battie on one of it's many trails and dine on delicious creations by some of the finest chefs you'll find anywhere or relax at the harbor and take in all the beauty 'Where The Mountains Meet The Sea.'

History of Captain Taylor Our home was originally built by a sea captain in 1903. It was completely renovated in 2000 by a cabinet maker. The wood working, cabinetry and furniture and built-ins are handcrafted throughout.

Space, Space, Space This gracious Victorian is large enough to accommodate a party of twelve and roomy enough that you can spread out and have your space too! We have had weddings here, baptisms and many family reunions.

Skiing Information: Camden Snow Bowl is located on Ragged Mountain. You can view the ocean as ski or snow board. It is about a five minute drive from the house.

Golf Information: Goose River is a public golf course and Samoset Resort is approx. a 15 minute drive.
